Podcast #806 – NVIDIA Blackwell uArch, RTX 5090 Power Draw, The End of 8GB GPUs, Microsoft AI for raster, ASUS BTF GPU power, VLC AI + MORE!

NVIDIA’s latest GPUs are almost here, but we can already tell you that 12GB is the new 8GB. Arc is the true way! (Ok, maybe not, but Josh did buy one.) And, of course, 3dfx had it all figured out with their external power supply for the Voodoo 6000. (note the thumbnail)
Microsoft is bringing more AI to raster pipeline, VLC is bringing more AI to just videos, the RTX 50 series will be incredibly powerful and difficult to power, but ASUS might have “The Way”.  All that and more in this show.

We must thank our Patreon members, because without you … we would be gone. New folks and current ones that are bumping their patronage are greatly appreciated.

This show cannot go on without you – you know who you are, please consider helping our efforts. It most definitely helps keep us on the air. And helps Josh buy burgers. Thank you!
