If you’re looking for components that don’t cost a lot for your budget-friendly gaming PC, check out the Corsair CX750M power supply unit. This is an 80 Plus Bronze-rated power supply with a semi-modular design, meaning some of the cables are permanently attached to it while the others can be removed according to your needs.
We stumbled across this best-selling PSU with a 25% price cut on Amazon, reducing it from $99.99 to $74.99, which is very light on the pocket. It has enough capacity to power builds with the RTX 5070 Ti and other components, so you should have plenty of freedom to choose which components to include in your PC.

80 Plus Bronze Semi-Modular Low-Noise ATX 750 Watt Power Supply – NA – Black
Reasons to Buy
- 750W is plenty for a budget or mid-range PC build
- It is semi-modular
- Very light on the pocket
Reasons to Avoid
- It only has a Bronze efficiency rating
Why you should get this PSU
This PSU comes with two ATX 12V 8-pin and one ATX 24-pin connectors permanently attached to it, but the rest of the ports are free. This means that you can connect only the cables you want and keep the rest of them in the box. This should also make cable management easier and clear the clutter. According to Corsair, this PSU is designed for quiet operation, producing only 35dB above 100% load.
This power supply unit should also provide 85%+ efficiency depending on the load, but it is still good considering it is a Bronze-rated PSU. The 750W capacity should also open opportunities for various combinations. For example, you can even install an RTX 5080, which has a 360W TDP with the Ryzen 7 9700X (105W TDP). This totals to 465W, leaving you with 285W of overhead for other components, and they don’t take a lot of power.

Is this deal worth it?
Considering its price, we think this deal is worth it because it provides plenty of power to handle a build with the RTX 5080, but you’ll have to be careful in selecting the processors. On the other hand, you wouldn’t have to do that if you stick to mid-range components, and for that configuration, this PSU is excellent.
While it isn’t the best PSU for gaming, it should get the job done efficiently, and since it is semi-modular, you should have an easy time making connections and with cable management.
